    Defraggler not working

    I have installed the latest version of Defraggler on my computer. right now I am running Windows 7 on my computer. whenever I am trying to launch the program it is prompting with an error message ‘Defraggler has stopped working’. If you are having any useful information then let me know about the same. Thanks a lot in advance.

    In this particular situation I recommend to run the program in Debug mode.
    • Click on Start button and click on Run button.
    • Over here you have to run <path to Defraggler> /[debugx]. Here meaning of X is number of mod.
    • Now click on Ok button.
    • Once you have done Defraggler would start into debug mode.
    • You will be able to see debug mentioned near of version number.
    • After completing with usage you should quit the software.

    Try to launch the program as administrator of the computer and see whether it helps you out.
    You should right click on the exe file of the software and click on Run as Administrator.

    See whether you are able to use program by booting into Safe mode.

    Restart your computer if it already running after saving all the important information.

    You have to tap F8 key and select Safe mode from advanced boot menu.

    Once your computer is booted into Safe mode you have to try to open the software and see whether it is working or not.

    I was facing the same problem and clean boot the computer. after doing that defraggler.exe worked flawlessly.
    • I entered msconfig into Run and selected selective startup from general tab.
    • Here I unchecked win.ini, system.ini as well as startup items.
    • Hence there could be some of the system process which might causing issue.
    • I hope above mentioned thing could be helpful to someone.
