    Excel 2010 combining data

    hi,

its probably very basic but i can seem to get it right.

im plan on doing some stock checks:

so in column A i have all the barcode numbers that I've scanned.

Column B i have the number 1 appear when information is entered in Column A as its a single item i scanned. Cell B1 has if(a1>0,1)

i have duplicate items that all say 1. is there away of excel realising theres two of the same barcode and put a 2 (or how ever many i scanned of the same item)? id prefer it if i could get the new consolidated figure in sheet 2

    Thanks
