Microsoft Office Starter 2010 Edition available for PC or Portable USB Key

Microsoft actually distributes its smallest variant Office "Office Starter 2010" exclusively as a free pre-installation on new PCs. However, the setup files are on a Microsoft server for quite freely available for anyone to download. Included in this package are Word and Excel 2010 in stripped versions. Interesting also is an included tool to allow the two programs to install on a USB stick. Word and Excel Starter differ from the full product with a slightly limited functionality. Are missing about the ribbon tab Check References and view. In addition, there is a right-hand column, will appear in advertising.

Starter Edition will be an average home user with sufficient tools provided. There are no limitations in storing or printing documents. In addition, a portable version of the Starter package to a USB stick to be written, so the 400MB big pack temporarily on another PC can be used.

Microsoft Office 2010 Starter is Microsoft's free Office suite that includes Word and Excel in versions stripped. Usually you cannot get Microsoft Office 2010 Starter, the software is already exclusively with OEM-supplied computer software to their use. The beauty of it: Microsoft has yet to setup their own servers. Just setup that you can download to you also benefit from Microsoft Office 2010 Starter to come. Now there is with Open Office or Google Docs, of course, alternatives, but some just want to Microsoft Office. For the very people Microsoft Office 2010 Starter something.

The Starter Edition has another advantage, because spending all the money for MS Office do not want to see the documents but it / they need from the customer / friend and / or supplied whoever, to have a solution. LibreOffice is in fact not represent all original, which comes in MS format so you can get the stuff (at least with advertising) seeing as it has been created.

Indeed, it is rather nice on the part of Microsoft. I reinstalled the machine from a friend last time and since it is used to Office, I would have liked him to something other than Open Office.

I do not understand anyway that Microsoft offers this suite only on new machines and not for download, as it was supposed to be free.

While not a substitute for full suitable Office 2010 Starter suite helps users who cannot afford to buy one license Microsoft Office or are considering it for the rest of the applications in other suites require. They recommend you install the starter before the first attempt trial (60 days free) Office 2010 to access all sites and options in this application to test.
