Missing table tool design tab in Excel

Hi friends, I am running MS Office Home and Student 2007 on my Windows XP and am having issues with the excel. I believe there is suppose to be a tab titled 'table tools design' that appears when I click anywhere on the table. However, for some reason this tab does not appear when i click on the table. I recently had an addin (mindjet manager), which i have removed as i thought there might have been a conflict, but still nothing. However I can see the tab in word but just not in excel.

Have you actually made a Table using Insert | Table If so, whenever you select one of its cells there is a context tab (top row of Ribbon) called Table Tools. So this is only the table tool design tab in Excel that you are looking.
