Windows Live messenger blank screen

Hi

For a while now after launching Hotmail to check emails I have received a blank screen. Nothing comes up at all and no matter how many times I re-fresh my page nothing happens.

To access anything i have to go through on my laptop: mobile.live.com. This allows me to open up Hotmail about 1/20 times.

I've emptied my cache, deleted all cookies, run java scripts, un-installed and re-installed msn, but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Have you tried the system file scan utility, type "sfc /scannow" into an elevated command prompt or run box and see if that eliminates the issue. Also there is a chance that the contact store might be corrupted so try to delete the Messenger contact store as well. Hope that helps you out.
