Project 2007 - Custom working hours

I am trying to set up custom working hours which are shift hours.

Project doesn't let me change to the following non standard working hours:

    6.30PM to 10.30PM (line 1)
    11pm to 3:30AM (line 2)

Error says the end of the shift should be later than the start - which I understand because Project can only schedule hours in the same 12hr period.

But is there a work around for this to show the shift ACTUALLY starts at 6.30PM on Day 1 but finished at 3:30AM on Day 2?

If the start time for the task is set to the default of 8am for 9/1 then can you try to change the format and change the start time to 12:00 am, this way everything would be alligned the way it was supposed to.
