how to hide yahoo update in yahoo messenger 11

Hi, I have recently updated the yahoo messenger at my place and I am having very huge problem with the newer version as I was quite familiar with the previous version but not with the one which I have mentioned thus wanted to know about some of the facts.

As how to stop sharing updates that appear in Yahoo Messenger and YM11, any suggestion would be appreciated.

yeah off course you can hide any of your updates by using the subsequent instructions:

Go to your Yahoo Pulse page first.
Now click Profile situated on the left side of the page. Your most present updates come into view under your public photo.
To eliminate an update, click the X to the right of the update.
And the update would be hide for sure.

I am agree with the above user as you can do this for sure, but along with that you can have some more options as well, like you can hide updates of a certain type and manage your update sharing preferences.
