firefox 6.0.2 hanging on windows 7

Hi,
My Firefox is hanging very frequently .I removed all the add-ones and then used it but problem remained as it is . Recently I have uninstalled IDM it was not attached to chrome and the chrome is working fine .
Please tell me what to do????

Well, try to uninstall firefox and all its addons or any left overs from your computer completely. And after that reinstall the latest VSN without any add-ons or plug-ins. Install addons only when they are asked for like for example flash player is asked when you go to any youtube video. If the problem still persist then download and install a software called Revo Uninstaller and boot into safe mode and then start that software to remove each and every features of firefox, then reboot and reinstall it.
