Changing the size of windows in Mac OS X

Recently I bought a new Macbook, which works on Mac OS X. previous I am using window XP so comparing window and Mac I am missing two things:
First, I cannot resize my widow in Mac OS X it is only possible from the bottom right corner to resize the window. While in XP, we can resize the window from anywhere.
Second, I want my dock to be look like start Bar in window XP. It means that I want my entire favorite program at one dock.

Do you mean modifying the icons in the dock? Yes, you cannot revise some if they are not put explicitly in your dock such as ITunes, iPhoto, Garageband, iMovie, iWeb, Dashboard, Finder, Mail, Address Book, iCal, Safari and whatnot. I feel that it is for applications might be move around from the get going because they are default in your dock. Now depending on if you open an additional system express. Calculator and you cannot restore it, but it vanishes when you stop the system unless you have particularly moved it in your dock. Anybody have SnapX Pro and would like to construct a video on the most proficient method to do this?

I am sitting at a work stand with a Windows box following to me, and I could probably pull any window I need (outlook, internet explorer) down beneath the Start Bar. Correspondingly, if I put the Dock on the other side of my OS X desktop, I could probably pull any window behind it. It sounds comparable to me.

I have been a Mac person following the Mac Plus, and this is something that in addition disturbs me. In OS X, it is regretful since you could not venture to get the sides of a window to move it like you might in OS 9. I have had innumerable times where the window or palette winds up underneath the dock or in fact underneath the lowest part of the screen and I need to shut the application or something to get the window to backpedal to ordinary. Put in that the way that the perfect small green bind regularly tries not to do a thing 9 out of 10 times, and it would be able to get bothering. Expected offenders are Quark, Poser, Adobe CS and MS Office. On the whole, I feel that it is messy customizing on the application designer's part, but I do wish that OS X could spared me the time to get a window such as the one I long ago would have the capacity to do in OS 9.

Yes, I figure out there are no outer edge to drag around that is the focus. I must have been more particular I guess why there are no fringes to resize windows. I would rather not be a desperate as but stunning, I clearly began needing to utilize Mac OS and goodness, which is strange.

The same amount as I like OS X and hatred Windows. this is one focus that I think Windows wins on. It tries not to matter if there is a surface outskirt around a window or not. The usefulness of being to resize from any window edge can exist and might as well anyhow be a choice. Having a superficial edge may be a signal that you are able to snatch it, and OS X strives for less image jumble, but the real purpose is not tie to the realistic you see on the screen. Therefore, there is indisputably no explanation to advocate making resizing windows more troublesome than it might as well or might be. Go ahead; in any event give me a terminal charge to empower this.

What happen if the window is too vast for the resolution? I have a window open at this time that is too huge for my screen. The few-line-corner-resize is out of my view as of this moment. I cannot move the mouse over there. There needs to be an additional approach to resize a window. Please help me friend about this problem.

Drag it until the three shaded buttons are in view and after that click, the green one and it ought to resize it for you.
