How to upgrade from Office Home and Student 2010 to Office professional academic 2010

Hello everyone I am college student and I have windows XP operating system. Recently I had purchased Microsoft Office 2010 home edition. I had also bought Office 2010 Academic edition for half price. It has all the feature of Office Student edition. I want o upgraded from Home to Academic. How can I do that. I am not able to find any upgrade option. Can anyone here help me to get a appropriate upgrade procedure.

The best thing you can do is first remove any existing version of Microsoft Office installed in your pc. And then go ahead with the installation of another one. If you need a stable output then I will not recommend you to go for upgrade. There can be problem later on. Try to remove the first and install the new one over it. This will be the easiest option.

It is right that you need to remove the old edition. I had tried a upgrade process before. Due to that office application on my pc just keeps on crashing on its own. So it always good that you must run a full installation from scratch. This also saves a lot of time. You can use a office remover tool which you can find online. Just remove the existing old edition and install the new one and then do not forget to reboot your pc.
