    question Unable to installe XP SP2 on XP Home with SP1

    Hi,

    I am having Toshiba Laptop (Celeron) with Windows XP Home edition with SP1. Now I want to install SP2 to run some softwares. While installing SP2, it will come upto productkey then it will be terminated and it will show fatal error and installation window closed.

    Can anybody help to resolve this problem?

    I think formatting the C: partition and doing clean install will solve this problem for sure. get Windows XP SP2 CD for the same and go on. For more info on this problem, you should also check out these articles with the same problem:
