Robocopy Directory with Two Words in Name

I have used Robocopy for some years, but it seems to fall down when I try to copy contents of a directory like "C:\Local Folders". It just seems to treat the source as "C:\Local". Any help/advice? Thanks

Can you try to copy the files with the old fasion way of drag and drop? You can do that once, to make sure its not your network failing. Make sure that works, and then try look at other solutions. Also make sure your destination drive, is NTFS and NOT Fat32. Check when its failing to copy, is it always at the same point? ( that is; if it always failing after 2gb )

    Thanks Expertz,

I wonder whether I am having trouble because I shell to Robocopy from a GWBasic program. The error messages I then get show that Robocopy has only picked up the first word of the Folder name. Provided I know that this is NOT a fault/problem with Robocopy I will explore further. I know that normally if the file name/directory had a space in it, the name needs to be enclosed in parentheses, but I cannot do that from Basic. I will try running it in a batch file. Yes- I'm old fashioned but it is hard to teach a 76yo new tricks.
