A software for Vinyl Cutting/Plotting except Corel

Recently I have got into the vinyl sign business and right now I'm a slight interested in a number of things. At present I am using CorelDraw 11 to cut the signs, but the problem is I am not very much familiar with this at all. Now what my assumption is if one of the Adobe CS applications are capable to carry out this exploit as a substitute. I am very much familiar with the whole CS Suite, therefore it would be much easier in favor of me to educate others how to do stuff, etc. except at present we are stressed with Corel. For now here the Corel is the only option. Does anybody have good tutorial or any other alternative tips regarding this?

FlexiSIGN is for us much more than the best program in court. It was introduced in the market and put it as the leader of sales. Immediately saw the potential that treasured. It was much more than other programs and also made it easy. Its user interface hopelessly hooked us that were a program created the user in mind. Power and ease of use. But also did everything and did it well. Then came the great redesign and updated internal version 6 with an innovative object-based technology. Amazing, worked in semi automatic mode, and no longer had to undo the design to correct an error, make the changes automatically.

The "standard" language intended for such stuff is HPGL which SignEngine Amiga software completely supported, currently updated to HPGL-2. My cutter as well speaks DMPL except I'm not sure it was yet as well-liked as HPGL. Make sure that's the serial/parallel communication language that the PC utilizes to converse toward the cutter, it is not a kind of file format. I'm truthfully not certain what nowadays "standard" 2-D plotting file format may be... lying on my Amiga it was named DR2D (Draw2D).

I think the question is not whether there is a plotter for Mac, but if there is Mac software. In Mac you FlexiSIGN, I do not know is if the system were 9 or have a version for Mac OS X. I know of other programs, but doing a Google search out things. To see ALL plotters are supported by cutting programs because they use the HPGL language. Connectivity is via serial port (standard); parallel port, USB and a few lately (I speak of cutting plotters, not print) work with NIC.

As far as I know that the problem that you'll find for use in the mac is soft, and virtually no cutting programs to run under OSX (it is, unless I missed something NO cutting programs for OSX, if for Classic). On a PC you have as many options as you like, from programs of $ S 25 (to install a driver in court settings of the plotter like a printer) and use the corel drawings to build up super sophisticated programs cut by color overlapping, nesting etc.
