    Copy protecting a pdf file

I want to know how to protect a PDF file so that we can not copy the contents, ie the Scriptures, so that one can not transfer writes word or any other application. I have some document to send via mail. The documents are important and I am finding no way to encrypt it. I can try to convert them on the image format, but that will make them more and more blurry. For retaining the quantity of the scanned file I have to stick with the pdf format. How to protect this files.

In the File menu in your Adobe Acrobat, click on Protection of the document. In the appeared window select Acrobat Standard Protection from the drop down menu. Then choose Standard Protection from the same. It contains two different sections including Passwords and Rights. There are two options here. In the first you get settings for an confidential document. This option puts a password to the document. In the second it locks its editing. The user is denied from all rights.

For an copy protection of an electronic documents like a pdf file there are several solutions. One of them is encryption. Encryption is the process by the content is substituted, in a clear text and it becomes unusable for anyone to access it except reading it. The user can only get the full access if he has the encryption key. Essentially, this is to encode a message so that only one other person knows the key can decode it. This feature is avialable in adobe and other pdf generator also.

You can try some kind of third party software which can copy protect your document. The No Protection in adobe is selected by default. When you choose this option, your PDF is not encrypted or protected by a password. Users who have access to your PDF document will then perform all normal operations on it like print, edit, copy its contents etc. You can go in protection document under the menu to get more details and settings. This option allows you to encrypt your document and add a password protection.

When PDF documents are copy protected, it becomes impossible in the backward-compatible 40bit encryption of the access the same file. There is an alternative to pre-128bit encryption and the option to make the document accessible for the visually impaired to activate. However, the documents can then be opened in Acrobat Reader 5 or higher, and no longer in Acrobat Reader 4. The higher encryption is essential for access to documents protected with documents from being accessed by others.

You can prevent copying text out or if the document is printed. But the copy of the document itself can not prevent you. With the settings to save the document, you can set these options (password). In addition there is the possibility (which you need but a dedicated server), open the file due to centrally manage users. Document security is a set of elements. Each of these will influence the type of protection you apply to your documents. You can use the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat to get maximum security.
