What's going on with the iD Super Pack in Steam

Anyone acquainted with iD Super Pack in Steam? Shouldn't it in fact be like $10.50? The cost for the pack is may be the $70, not $195.67. Or superior up till now, what's with all the packs? They all look to have this trouble. I know that cut rate is depends on sum of content price, not pack cost. That is simply the way it is. Its type of a letdown it wasn't just a fault and is actually made-up to be that price. So are these packs on trade for the complete sale or are the featured packs only for today?

Here I must say something about this. It's a widespread marketing method to make savings come out more precious. 90% off sounds much finer than 25% off, and if you augment the base price lacking the majority people understanding it or caring, you can vend a lot more copies with a considerably inferior discount. I bought the id Super Pack throughout January of 2010. I don't remember the base price, but it was may be close to the $190. In general, the price they suppose for the id Super Pack is considerably less. While it was on sale in 2010, I acquired it for $23. It wasn't 90% off, either. $30 is a great price for this compilation though. It could advantage from having music for Quake and Hexen II even if, amid other things. I am not certain if I am going to stay much longer anyhow. I have determined out of principle that I would no longer purchase from Steam except they cancel my ban. I have grown tired of Steam in the precedent year, preferring GOG, Gamers Gate, and Direct2Drive and just utilizing Steam while essential, and have as well gained fairly a collection over the last four or so years on Steam, so unkind acquiring from them completely won't kill me.
