    Robocopy Help

I'm looking for some help in using robocopy - basically I have to pick up a file from a multiple shares then transfer/move to one single location and vise versa.
1- when i pick up from the source and transfer to multiple shares, I have to check if file name exists before placing file, and if so, move to archive folder then place new file in the share.
2 - when file is picked up from share, it needs to be archived and renamed after transfer.

I do have the basic understaing of robocopy but still a bit confused on how to put it all together and any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Re: Robocopy Help

Not sure what you're doing, but I used to use Robocopy to backup servers and the following subroutine is used to scan the records (which could be huge!) To find the error line. It is called by the name of the log file to verify oFSO FileSystemObject and writing a block of HTML in a variable called sSummary. This is written on a website can quickly check to start exploring again errors. It normal, the final block (which has a row of dashes, the statistics should not be less than 20 lines from the end). If you find this idea, we know that the backup could not be completed.
