Runtime error R6025 on Excel 2010 with Windows 7

I am using Excel 2010 with Windows 7. Whenever I try to save a sheet I get the follow error:
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\EXCEL>EXE
    R6025
I then got the message that Microsoft Excel has stopped working and the program shuts down.
I also get the following Error:
    Error:

I am not having any kind of idea about this kind of error message. I've not at all heard of this kind of error before. First I will try to run my Excel in SAFE MODE (then just try and hold down Ctrl key while beginning Excel).
    - if the trouble goes then an add-in or startup program is the reason; try a procedure of removal
    - if the trouble is still there, then reply again.

If the above solution don’t work just try this out. Open Excel and then go to File, Options, and Accessories. If I remember correctly, was the two COM add-ins that were causing problems, so that the bottom of the "View and manage add-ons for Microsoft" page select Add COM and click "Go." Select the ASPEN-ins that come and tell Excel to remove them. Finally, restart your computer and open a backup copy of Excel. I have not had a recurrence of the problem, and it takes my supplements, so I hope that everything works for you now. Good luck!

Re: Runtime error R6025 on Excel 2010 with Windows 7

    I have an alike difficulty: Windows 7 64 bit + Excel 2010 (32 bit) installed Hysys + v7.2.
    trouble:
Excel crashes when you try save a file.
Excel also crashes when I start in safe mode, and then try to save a file (as opposed to what is reported above)

When I try to follow the above instructions for removing the two supplements, I have a problem:
In the File / Options / accessories, I see two concerns Aspen complements the active application add-ins:
    1. Aspen Plus v7.2 Excel calculator (ATL)
    2. Book Aspen Simulation v7.2
in addition, under Inactive Application Add-ins:
    1. Book Aspen Simulation v7.2

It seems strange that the same complement is both active and inactive! (Book Aspen Simulation v7.2). Anyway NO obvious way to remove the add-INS! Using the Delete key on the keyboard does nothing, there is a Manage button down (do not know what it does), there is an "Oops ..." Who knows what, and there's a right and a Cancel button. None of these appear to "eliminate" the supplements.

Thanks for the quick response. I began to excel in safe mode, as you suggested and saved it without any error. I had installed AspenPlus v7.2 (chemical engineering simulator) on my computer yesterday morning and installed two Excel add-ins. I removed these two supplements and everything is working well. I'm not sure why he ran yesterday and not today, but at least it is working now! Thanks again!
