Does APA 6th edition upgrade available

Here I just wish to know that, is there an upgrade for APA 6th edition for Word 2010 available? It presently is just using APA 5th edition. I just heard this on some site but still I can’t find any solution for this. Anyone have any idea or any suggestion for this. I try to search this on many sites but at a standstill I can’t find it. One more question is, if it is available than, it’s fine to upgrade it? Please if anyone has any idea regarding this than please provide me.

No. There is not any, and there are no tactics for any by Microsoft. The just solution would be to make your own style from scrape but that needs XSLT knowledge. Post a follow up message if you know XSLT and wish to spend as a minimum a week coding. If all you are concerned in is a DOI field, you could attempt the proof-of-concept I shaped. There are no additional changes but that field to the file. The remaining all stays APA 5th edition.

Just because this feature of Word has been misunderstood from the first day it was submitted. With Word 2007, Microsoft provided an "open" framework for the creation of reference styles. As a frame is nothing without a guide on how to use it, created a series of style sheets (such as a PAC) to illustrate how it works. According to the blog of publications made at that time, Microsoft believes that his work was done and now the community to create their own style sheet.

    1. Creating new reference styles is not easy and requires some programming skills may not be available readily organizations.
    2. Publication of the organizations is very lazy. They describe the output formats, but provide no tool to make that format. All they do is ask (much) money for his books on how to format text as off to their principles. If you do present any assist, it’s in the form of tools developed by its user base could not do no more and took the initiative themselves (for example, the IEEE best file for Latex).

Here I just wish to add something in this case. If you do not have programming skills to do it yourself, you can at a standstill do something. Write a letter to EPA and ask them why did not provide a style sheet to its most recent version for use in Word. Explain that the word is used by most users and that everyone who paid for his book anyway. So a little help from their side should be more than welcome.

Placing the onus on the consumer is not how Microsoft would go about this. I understand what you say and makes sense in a "backstage" at anyone that purchases of MS Office really cares and that's just the point. If I can acquire Office 2010 and it arrives with fixed reference types, then the query of how they came to be there and what Microsoft's expectations for future reference styles can be wholly irrelevant to me as a consumer.
