QuickTime 7 icon disappeared after updating to 10.6.7

I had the QuickTime 7 in the past and then I decided to upgrade it to 10.6.7.Now after upgrading it to 10.6.7 everything is fine and there are not much problem with it.But the issue is that I have suddenly realized the Quick Time icon is missing when I was doing command-tab to move through applications. What I saw there was just a blank space.So can anyone tell me why this took place. Also do let me know the solution as what I need to do to get away with this issue.

I just had a look at the question that you have put up and would say that it looks as though as soon as you open an application then the icon disappears.So this is what happens and I don’t know if it is something that is normal or not. Also the icon just appears next to the title in the applications folder.So this again for me is something that is strange.So in short I would tell you that you really don’t have to worry much about this and just keep on using the new version of quick time without any problem.

I think that you just need to have a look at the console and I then suppose that all will be fine with you. This is something that I have heard for the first time and didn’t even think that this is something that takes place.And this is because I have heard this for the first time.But I even went through the previous solution and do feel that you can even go ahead with that solution and that might help you to fix the issue that you are facing.

I just went through the solutions that you have provided to me and would say that I am a little confused on what is to be done to solve this query.I will try to solve the problem that I have been facing but it will be better that I can get some other solution as well. So can you tell me what I need to do to get away with this problem? I have checked everything but didn’t find any reason why this would happen. So now it all depends on you to solve the problem that I am facing.

According to me what you need to do is that you need to do the upgradation process again as I seriously do feel that it is the one that is causing you the real problem.If you carry out the updradation once again then I am sure that it will help you to fix the issue.Also I am telling you this because I feel that that is the reason which is causing you the problem and I don’t find any other reason that can stop you from showing you the QuickTime 7 icon.I am sure that once you carry out this process then all will be fine with you.
