I recently had a WIN7 client set up to receive IP through our Domain Controller. The Client received a good IP address (on our private 10... network). However the DNS (which should have been the DC) was listed as 192.168.1.1. Is this a known issue?
I checked the configuration, IP and DNS were both set to automatic. Rebooting the client resolved the issue, but I can't think why the client would have gotten that IP for its DNS server.
