how to stop printed Windows live email with embedded print date

Every time I print an email opened in Windows live, the print date is embedded in the bottom right corner. I have turned off all the print options in Internet Explorer but it still prints on Windows live emails. Suggestions/solutions gratefully received.

This is divided into 2 parts:

First in the Outlook go to File> then to Page Setup> then to Define Print Styles> Table> Edit
GO to Header/Footer Tab> uner Footer there should be three boxes in which may have the User Name, Page, and or date. Remove the date and select okay.

The do the same for Memo Style:

In Outlook go to File> Page Setup> Define Print Styles> Memo> Edit
GO to Header/Footer Tab> under Footer there should be three boxes in which may have the User Name, Page, and or date. Remove the date and select okay.

hi, thanks for that. I should have added that I am running Windows 7 which according to the blurb doesn't allow Outlook. I would prefer to run Outlook as the search and list by options are better than Windowslive.

Re: how to stop printed Windows live email with embedded print date

    Hi,

I ran into this problem with Windows Live Mail and found the solution.
Go into Internet Explorer and go to page setup.
Choose Font and change the font color to white.
Windows Live Mail will now print out emails with invisible page number and date.

    Cheers.
