Following configuring the new OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SSD in my computer, I enabled AHCI in BIOS. After this the computer is showing an additional screen which takes more time to boot up the Windows nearly 10 seconds more. After the logo appears in the screen, the system turns to black screen showing that the version supports only HDD and CD/DVD ROM drive. Do you think that this is normal? How can I avoid this? Should I have to update the BIOS version? Following are my computer’s specifications:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
- BIOS version: iSrc 1.07 08042006
- Operating System: Windows 7 x64
- OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SSD
