Problems which affect Internet Explorer as well affect Explorer; they are strongly joined together. Often BEX errors are caused by Toolbars for example Google, Trend Micro and others. Are you utilizing any 3rd party toolbars in Internet Explorer? Cause and repair is similar for windows Vista and Windows 7. Is there any add-ins to Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player? What antivirus or antispyware or safety product do you comprise on PC? Comprise any you have ever had on this PC including those you uninstalled.
    1. Start- All Programs- Accessories- System Tools- Internet Explorer with no Add-ons, does this effort improved?
    2. Internet Explorer- Tools- Internet Options- Advanced Tab- click on Restore Advanced Settings and after that click on reset- APPLY and ate end press OK
    3. Internet Explorer- Tools- Internet Options- Security Tab- click on Reset all zones- then apply and OK
    4. Close and regenerate Internet Explorer or Internet Explorer with no add-ons
    5. Internet Explorer- Tools- Manage Add-ons for certain immobilize SSV2 if it is there, this is no extended wanted but Java still setups it and it causes problems, you ever renew Java go back in and immobilize it another time.

I have similar trouble. I might have previously solved my trouble. I just attempted opening just single AVI file. I have other AVI files, so I attempted opening them, and Windows Media Player worked. I prepared the AVI file which Windows Media Player could not play. I checked that AVI file with VLC player, and what VLC showed was strange. I guess that AVI file was dishonest. Thanks for your assist though, mainly that Malware Bytes program.

The trouble is bad; I cannot unlock AVI files or even WAV files in compressed files. I utilized to be able to perform this. How do I repair this? I have Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Media Player codec’s installed. I will attempt uninstalling them and they uninstall Windows Media Player. After that I will again install Windows media Player. I as well have VLC Player and Winamp installed. I don't know if the codec’s they utilize interfere. Each time I boot Windows, an error emerges saying that COM Surrogate has blocked functioning. I am very sure that they are connected. This error came up as well while Windows Media Player crashed.

If you require to verify for malware here are my suggestions - these will permit you to do a thorough check and elimination devoid of ending up with a lot of spyware programs running occupant that can cause as lots of problems as the malware and possibly harder to spot as the cause. No one program can be relied upon to spot and eliminate all malware. Added that frequently simple to spot malware is often escorted by a much harder to spot and eliminate payload. So, it is better to be excessively thorough now than to pay the high price afterward. Check with these to a great excess point and after that run the cleanup just while you are very certain the system is fresh. These can be completed in Safe Mode, frequently push F8 as you boot however you should as well run
them in normal Windows while you can.
