Crossfading is not working properly in Windows Media Player running Windows 7

While playing shamble tracks from a playlist in WMP with crossfading get going, I locate the crossfading works very well for regarding 4 or 5 songs after that stops working on one song at arbitrary, after that reactivates itself for the subsequently only some songs. There does not appear to be pattern to the number of songs which play ok however it appear to hardly ever crossfade more than regarding 5 in series before stopping to restart after the subsequently song. The trouble is not caused via long periods of silence finally of some music files, since it is obvious from the blue progress bar in WMP that the next song is not starting until the previous one has completely finished as well as that crossfading did not work at the end of that exacting song. Any thoughts how this be able to be overcome would be respected……..

If crossfading does not appear to work, attempt the following. Be certain you are playing Windows Media Audio or MP3 files that are stored on your PC or on a data CD, rather than playing song straight from an audio CD. Crossfading does not work by means of audio CDs. check crossfading by means of songs that were ripped at the similar time. Crossfading might not effort if the files have dissimilar sampling rates or bit depths, dissimilar numbers of audio channels, or if some of the files have other type of streams besides audio (such as video, script, or HTML).

Make sure that you are playing files that were ripped with the similar copy defense setting. For crossfading to effort, the files you are playing must also all have copy defense turned on, or they must the complete have copy defense turned off. Check songs that have sensibly high volume at the beginning as well as in the last part of the song, as crossfading decrease the volume through those sections.

To reply the problem that you have, the entire files are wma as well as stored on the hard disk. They were ripped on the similar vista PC the entire by means of the similar copy protection settings. The crossfading issue was not present by means of these files while they were played on the old windows Vista PC by means of WMP as well as everything worked okay. I have attempted reinstalling WMP as you recommend however it has not resolve the issue. After listening cautiously over the weekend I locate that the crossfading stops constantly simply on all fourth song, whether in shuffle play or not. I locate it hard to trust that this is a issue by means of the media files while this issue did not happen in vista by means of the similar files. For it to be constantly occurring by means of just the fourth song recommend that there may be a bug by means of my Windows 7 WMP.
