sad windows media player folder issues

H-E-L-P please.... I'm using Windows 7 home edition. My Media player has decided to separate all my downloaded music files by WMA, MP3 & M4A in my music library. I would like all the songs from eg: 'Metallica' to be in ONE folder, not separated by the file type. How can I change this? I'm not very good at computers and at some point I've hit a wrong button or something. It used to be the way I wanted it. any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

You can do that by creating different libraries. In the Media player there is a option of creating your own music list and also you can name them. You can then add only specific songs you need. For that you can see a arrow next to burn. There click on library and then click on create playlist. Add your songs and save it. This will loaded automatically when you start media player. You just need to put the songs in different folders.
