Cannot stream videos with Vbrick encoder

I have one website usually from where I stream the videos by using the vbrick encoder. When I was using the Quicktime player plug in 7.6.5 then it was working perfectly but since I have upgraded my Quicktime to the version 7.6.7, it has stopped streaming the videos. I just don't have any idea that why it is not working and what is wrong with this new version of the Quicktime player.

Re: Cannot stream videos with Vbrick encoder

There could be incompatibility issues between the Vbrick encoder and the quicktime player. Since an apple have launched the new version of its Quicktime player, It is not working properly in many conditions such as older player was working smoothly on the 64 bit versions of the windows operating system but this is not the case with the latest version. So it might happen that even Vbrick encoder has some compatibility problem with it due to which your vbrick encoder is not able to stream the videos.

I guess you may have to update the version of your Vbrick encoder which might not be showing any such issues with the new version of the Quicktime player. But I am not so sure that it would be working without any problem but still you must at least try the same thing with the latest version of the Vbrick Encoder.

VBrick Launches Version 4 of its server encoding / decoding Windows Media Video. This new version can provide simultaneous streaming in multicast and unicast. In unicast, every user mobilizes bandwidth while multicast has the advantage of using a single bandwidth regardless of the number of people connected. Businesses will therefore distribute their videos on the LAN while making them available to users from a single encoder. VBrick also provides a function Recasting, which offers the possibility of receiving a signal in unicast and multicast transform to avoid saturating the bandwidth. Finally, equipping version 4 plug-in PowerPoint presentations can be synchronized with the video available on the Internet.

I regularly convert files from one format to another, so I used Zamzar often. I did some tests and the service seems to work. To convert your files all you have to do this is to download them on Zamzar, select the format and give an email address. Zamzar will send you an email, you download the converted file from the link provided on this email. Personally, not knowing this company, I decided to give a secondary email address. Give me your comments about your use of this service and the quality of conversions that you've made.

This service requires however a few rules. The files should not exceed 100 MB and should not be subject to any copyright or copyright, otherwise the application will simply not addressed. Similarly, any pornographic, racist or promoting racial hatred and social will be rejected. We regret however that the service sends the file by mail, and we can already imagine the wait at his mailbox to retrieve the converted file, combined with the expectation of that conversion. One imagines as bad a 100 MB file come cluttering his mail box, even if the majority of services tend to offer a well above that. We therefore regret that Zamzar does not store files when converted to a dedicated server solution more expensive but more beneficial to the user.

Hey! Watch is a video encoding platform. Encoding is done on the servers of the service, and you are automatically notified when videos are ready. The video encoding can be done using RSS feeds, or are showing the videos to be transcoded. Many video formats are supported, both input and output. This can be handy for example automatically convert a podcast RSS feed is not compatible with iTunes compatible stream, allowing you to see then this podcast on your ipod.

A site that may be useful to people who are not at home or who are working with strange beings (Linux users, or worse, creatures with apple), as "Media Convert" proposes to convert, online, all your docs in full format. Text files (. Sxw doc.. Xml. Pdf. Pdb etc.) databases (. Dbf. Xls .123. Ods etc.), presentations, films, archives, images, vector files, sound files ... I have not tested any further, but it saved me a few times already.

Quick Media Converter is software for converting audio and video media. It can convert between audio formats and best-known video and can record images and videos from your webcam or digital camera. For advanced users, Quick Media Converter provides possibilities to specify the conversion settings as codecs to use, the sampling rate, the screen size, etc.. The software is still evolving.
