What AntiVirus/Firewall to use For my Apple Macbook air

I recently bought new Apple Macbook air 13- inch laptop. I install the software in it. I also keep images, movies, videos in it. But now there is a some virus problem i am facing with my new Apple Macbook air laptop. Because of the virus there is a problem in my Apple Macbook air laptop. I want to know about the anti-virus. What is a differences between Firewall & anti-virus software? Please help me as soon as possible.
