    MSP Task Relationship Update Query

    Hi,
Can any one advise how MSP 2003 handles the progressing of task relationship updates in particular SS and FF with durations.
Are they updated automatically as task % increases or do you have to update manually??
I intend to update the schedule on a weekly basis

    Thanks, JD

Re: MSP Task Relationship Update Query

Microsoft Project permits constraints to be allocated to tasks, such as "start no later than", "must finish on" etc. There are 8 limit types and for each constraint type you must enter a date. In general they should be relevant only where obligatory so that MSP can be free to analyze task start and finish dates etc. Each time you enter a constraint you inflict restrictions on MSP. If you want to know more about the MSP Task Relationship, you can check it at http://www.ami.ac.uk/courses/ami4040_pmme/unit_02/#sec2.
