Same Microsoft .NET Framework Update Happens Every Time I Shut Down Computer (Windows Vista 64)

Every time I go to shut down my computer I see the icon showing that I have new updates to install according to it. It's always just one update and I just did it again today and went into my control panel to see the list of updates to see which one was listed as being installed today and there were 2 for today:

Hotfix For microsoft .net framework 3.5 sp1 kb958484

Update For microsoft .net framework 3.5 sp1 kb963707

Why do these two listings constantly update every time I close my computer? Although I'm not getting any error messages saying it's not installing correctly anywhere, I assume it's not installing correctly each time, hence the repeat messages. Any way to fix this once and for all, it's very annoying?

PS: I tried to uninstall both updates to try to reinstall but I got an error 1719 and was unable to uninstall.

Well what what i can suggest is just turn off the Automatic updates for now. You can visit the Windows Updates website weekly or in a specific period of time to see what is available for updates, select the preferred ones and download the same. By doing so, there will be no duplication, and also windows will not keep downloading updates every time.
