windows photo gallery

Sometimes I open Windows Photo Gallery a large number of my
photos are in the untagged field even tho they had been in individual
tags. It does not take all of the photos from the tags. I do open the
tags and click on a couple of photos after I drag them from untagged.

That is because by default windows show a different Arrange by option. In order to see your untagged photos by folder just right click on the white space between the photo thumbnails and select Group by > Folder. You can arrange images by selecting "Arrange by name" to sort your photos. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply but I already have my folders with my photos in
them. The untagged field is empty. I close the program and then when
I reopen it lots, but not all photos are back in the untagged field.
