If you buy Microsoft Office Home and Student package containing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note, don’t whatever you do install the free version of Outlook 2010 that comes with it.
In just 90 days after installing it, and after the new Outlook has taken over your address book, calendar and all your email accounts, it stops working and demands that you upgrade at a cost of £99 minimum!
This is an awful Microsoft scam and has just caused me days of trouble trying to get me email back up and running again. So if any of you see a trial version of Outlook 2010, remember not to go anywhere near it! and Microsoft if you are listening, you owe me £99 for my new outlook that I didn’t need or want to buy.
