I have been working with project over the summer and I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. In my field you often have mason, carpenter etc working by the amount of work they complete and not by the hours they work. For example a carpenter may have a wooden wall to erect and he will be paid per foot squared (ft²) of wall he erected or a mason would be paid per foot cubed (ft³) of concrete placed. Usually I treat the carpenter or mason as a material resources and this works well and allows me to map these task against the resources and its cost. But I think this is not the only way to map these resources. Are there any other ways to map these resources and task. I appreciated all your help. Thanks!
