Itunes icon only launches App store

I am using iPad. After installing iTunes on my PC that is Windows 7 totals home prem icons ( desktop , documents , music ... ) became icons of itunes, previous iTunes icon was known to everyone and it was " stupid " to get rid of this element known to all.
