    Problem installing IE9

    Hello,
IE9 the current version of a beta does not seem to write a response to a forum topic. It is not possible for me to install it on my machine. I have tried a lot of times but I do not know what exactly is the problem with IE9. If any one else have faced a similar kind of a problem then please let me know. Thank you for your help.

I did install the beta of this and I do not encounter the problem that you mention.
This is what I did :
Install ===> IE9-WindowsVista-x86-eng, just double clicked on it and the browser was installed.

Are you 64-bit? When I write a reply, the message box opens well, but it is as "dead", I can not select or write a reply in it. By cons I can write in quick response. I'll try a third time. That may be my setup, but why only IE9 beta? IE8 32 and 64 bit, FF, Chrome all pass.

    Re: Problem installing IE9

This is what I experienced with the browser

-I have written and published a mess and I do not know where it went (I do not see the screen and no warning message)

-Blinking cursor in the input window of the message does not meet the solicitation of the mouse, keyboard only allowed its repositioning, so no possibility of "blue" part of a word or phrase or commit any of the options that are bold, link, list etc. ...

Options-font family and font size do not seem to be operational

-The font size in input mode and that a posted message (the one from 1:22 p.m.) were not the same (small font Vs normal font)

    Re: Problem installing IE9

For the rest of the browser, I saw 2 / 3 stuff around:

-The ClearType option in "internet options-Advanced tab" still validated even when the tick is removed and restarted IE9
-Impossible to "lock" the menu bar I can make it appear by using the Alt key

And at times, slowing glaring at the opening of some pages, even if IE9 seems a tad faster.
