What is new in office 2010

Office 2010 is out not and there is quiet a time passed after the release. I am searching for some solution which must take into account about the developments that are in these desktop applications which represent only a portion of the improvements what I am going to see in the final edition of Office 2010. What are the new implementations provided in Microsoft Office 2010.

I am happy with the enhancements in the Word application related to images. Here you can use many tools which are capable of doing simple editing of images. For example you can add very interesting artistic effects to images. It also has a powerful tool to remove the background of the photos which would be an evolution of the tool define transparency whose results are so good but a helpful feature.

Ribbon menu is one of the most newest feature that Microsoft Office 2010 has integrated in it. You might have seen the same in office 2007 also. But mostly, I think Office 2010 wins big points with the new behavior of the Office Button. Now this button does not display a menu with options, but shows a table of options that fill the entire window and allows us to quickly perform actions such as selecting a template for a new document, change metadata, or print a file, all without having to open new windows and from extremely user-friendly environment.

The same button which is mentioned in above post has more usage in Outlook. It allows to make a few clicks in Office 2007/2003 tasks requiring a huge amount of navigating menus and dialog boxes, such as adding a new email account or set up automatic responses. And thanks to the implementation of the Ribbon, the Outlook interface becomes much easier to customize according to our needs.

I had also found some very interesting new features in the same. Like there is a new translation tool that now come pre-installed. But before you use it you must know that your system must have installed an add-on for Windows Live Translator. There are some new SmartArt templates that has been added and new animations with transitions in PowerPoint. With that Word 2010 allows you to save files directly to SharePoint sites.
