Lost Internet and Sound in win vista

I am using computer since last three years. I have formatted the system because there was a lot of viruses in the system. But after formatting I am suffering from a problem of not getting the sound from the system. My internet is also unstable and device manager is not recognizing my PCI device. What to do now any idea for this.

Before going ahead to solving your problem I want to know that which version of the operating system you are using in the system. what is the configuration of your system. Please make sure that the drivers which you have installed are latest to their version. Also check and install the latest driver.

I am using the system with the following configuration:

OS- windows vista.
AMD’s Athlon X2 5200+ (2.6 GHz).
2 GB of DDR2 RAM.
Intel’s Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16 GHz).

I think this much is enough for you to solve the problem.

I think you have not ticked the check box in the internet. You need to check that using the following steps:

Go to tools in the internet explorer.
After this go to internet option.
Now go to setting in advance option.
In multimedia select Play sounds in Web pages

. After this you will be able to get the sound in the internet options.

As you have formatted your system. Which need the installation of the drivers and the operating system to the system. I think this id happening because of not proper installation of the driver and the sound card to the system. There may be possibility of the sound driver might have gone corrupted. So check it down and do accordingly.

After formatting your system you are not getting the sound and your internet disabled. I think check out for the sound driver as it may be corrupted or it may be not installed properly. If it is not installed properly then install it or you can download the sound driver from the internet and install it. Also do the same for the internet browser it may be happening due to corrupted browser. Try doing this.
