My Windows Vista can't delete stuff

Any time I delete something, it deletes at 0kb per second, which really means its not doing anything.
If i cancel, it cancels at 0kb per second.
Please help.

Unlocker is a program to unlock all the handles or threads to a particular file/folder. Because of such open handles, one cannot delete such items.

Unlocker can close all the open handles and can even delete those stuffs

True. But I can't even delete stuff like Word documents or images or anything like that for that matter. How does one access this program?

You mean that you cannot delete or cannot uninstall Word documents or images, if that is so then you may not be logged in as an administrator. By default you can’t logon as Administrator in Windows Vista. You can try to enable it by reading this article - How to Enable Hidden Administrator account in Windows Vista
