Recycle bin empty after deleting files

Hi! I have a little problem. Lately, I scanned my pc with an antivirus, and I discovered that actually, there ARE files in my pc that I have deleted long ago, and my recycle bin is empty. I did some research on the internet and it says that it is for recovering files just in case, but... It is sucking all my HDD memory. I would like to know how to completely delete this files. I am running out of memory and I need to do a clean up.

Is it possible to do it?

Re: Recycle bin empty after deleting files

You had deleted some files and it is also not appearing on the recycle bin then is it that your antivirus is detecting those files? Didn't it showed where the file is located? How can you say these files occupied your hdd space? If you are sure there are some traces left out by your deleted files then use some cleaner and make sure it free up your hard disk space.
