    Setting up my email on the new palm pre

    I am having an issue with the new email account regarding which i need your help. I am having a hotmail account but when i am accessing then Sprint says to enter some information about the same and i am not aware about the same. so if any one can help me with the proper setting of the same. Thanks in advance.

    As you have asked about the setting up of the email account in the Palm Pre then i will advise you to go with the below given setting which will help you to set up the device of yours with the Email account of yours. Here are the setting which will make the same happen.
    Code:
    (Incoming server) POP3 Server: pop3.live.com (port 995) 
    (Outgoing server) SMTP Server: smtp.live.com (port 25)

    As per your problem here i am ginving you the full detail of the account settng which you need to qwork with email account setting in the Palm Pre. So just go through the same and work with this issue.

    • Mail type: POP
    • Incoming Mail Server: pop3.live.com
    • Username: <Email address>
    • Password: <Password>
    • Port #: 995
    • Encryption: SSL
    • Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.live.com
    • Use Atuthentication: ON
    • Username: <Email address>
    • Password: < password>
    • Port #: 25
    • Encryption: TLS

    Here are the setting which i have created for my email account on the phone of mine. I hope if you follow the same then you can make the things better then the way i am working with it.

    • Pop3 Server: pop3.live.com (Port: 995)
    • SMTP Server: smtp.live.com (Port: 25)
    • Advanced Settings:
    • Incoming Uses SSL: On
    • Outgoing Uses SSL: On
    • Authentication: Password
    • Delete from Server: When removed from inbox
