Does ANYONE have a stable Lightroom 3.0 with Windows 7 64-bit

I am using LR3 with the Windows 7 operating system from quite sometime. Well, I am having various issues with it like it is slow, does not support some of the features. I am feeling that the older version, that is LR2 was better than this one. I am regretting that I upgraded to LR 3. I want to know that does ANYONE have a stable Lightroom 3.0 with Windows 7 64-bit till now or not.

I suppose that Lightroom 3.0 is not stable with Windows 7 64-bit. It seems that there are some conflicts between the operating system and the application. These conflicts are probably the incompatibility issues. I am facing the same issues in my system. I have searched the internet. But, I cannot find any genuine help to get rid of the problems that are being encountered because of this application.

Make sure that you guys are using the beta version or the full version of Lightroom 3.0. This is because the beta version is seen to have some bugs and other issues, which is resulting in an incompatibility with Windows 7 64-bit. I am using Windows 7 too, but having the full version. No issues as mentioned by you people are seen in my system.

Use the hardware and software evaluation tool in your system to know if the unstable Lightroom 3.0 with Windows 7 64-bit is incompatible with the operating system or not. Actually, all the components installed in the system will be listed with the help of this tool. Infact, they will be sorted according to the compatibilities and incompatibilities of the system. If LR3 is listed among the incompatibilities, then the reason is in front of you.

If an incompatibility issue is persisting between the Windows 7 operating system and Lightroom 3.0, then the compatibility mode will help you in this situation. Select the Windows XP mode, further in the compatibility mode. So, the application will run with the recommended settings in your computer. I suppose you will not have any instability after that.

LightRoom 2 is working fine with the Windows 7 operating system. I can assure about this because I am using the same. So, if you are not having a stable Lightroom 3.0 with Windows 7 64-bit, then I suggest you to degrade to this older version and there will be no instability with it. If you face any issues with it in Windows 7 again, then reply about the same here. I am waiting for your reply.

64 bit LR 3 seems to be working well on my Win 7. A few minor glitches, but nothing that couldn't be attributed to Win 7 instability.

I do have a big problem with my catalogs that I need help on, which was caused by moving images around to simply the structure. Big mistake. Now I have a confusing mess trying to straighten them out. To complicate matters, I transported my documents and pictures from an XP computer, which had images filed under My Pictures, to a new Win 7 computer that puts images into it's own Catalog Library. I think I made collections from both libraries and can't figure out a simple way to get everything back into a logical structure that saves all the editing I have done to the images since before the mess-up.

I guess the best way to ask the question is, if there are conflicting collections of the same images, what are the steps in which to sort them out and simplify the structure?
