AMD OverDrive cannot detect AMD 7-series chipset

I am having computer system with 2.6GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 processor. I have installed the AMD OverDrive on my computer system. But I am getting some issues with it. Whenever I use the AMD OverDrive utility I immediately get error message saying that "AMD OverDrive cannot detect AMD 7-series chipset". I am not getting how to resolve this issue. I wonder if you are able to help me to resolve this issue. I am waiting for your reply.

I think you must have done something mistake in the installation of the AMD OverDrive and only becasue of that you are facing this issue. In the way to resolve this problem you need to download the fresh installation copy of AMD OverDrive and then reinstall this application. Please try this solution and let me know if your are able to resolve your issue or not.

I think your computer might having some serious problem which causing this problem to your AMD OverDrive. This problem may be some virus and if you want to resolve this issue for that you need to install antivirus on your PC. I had gone through this type of AMD OverDrive problem. I used same solution to resolve it.

I am also one of you as getting identical issue with AMD OverDrive utility. I have tried various solution to resolve this problem, but still didn't get any success in it. I also reinstalled this AMD OverDrive, but it also wasn't helpful. I am totally frustrated becasue of this AMD OverDrive problem. Does anyone knows any solution for this?

According to me you need to reinstall your operating system. I am telling this becasue I was also getting similar AMD OverDrive issue and I did the reinstallation of my operating system to resolve it. I think should also need to try this trick. Before that you should try to configure the properties of the AMD OverDrive as it might help you.
