Beyond Compare for Mac OS X

    Hello,
I have decided to start the development of a website which will be using the CRE loading. Now I have heard that beyond Compare is a good software to do this task. The problem is that I have not used it before, so I do not know what are the features of this software. Also I use Mac OS, does this software work with mac OS. Any more information on this software will help me. Thank you.

    Hello,
I do not think that Beyond Compare works on Mac OS X. But the company is still trying to develop a copy of the software to port on Mac OS. If you need to run this software then you can use the virtual machine such as VMware or Virtual Box. I would recommend you to use VMware Fusion, this runs the software very well. You can also use the emulators which are available for Mac, like cross over or darwine. Both of them run this software, if I am not wrong.

Beyond Compare compares data between different computers. About the files from the PC or laptop at work, the software compares with the home computer as well as lack of recent data and pushes to the other computer. Also FTP server receiving the synchronization program. Area that you want to synchronize between the two computers. Alternatively, the sync software, but also whole drives. In any case, Beyond Compare investigated but just the files that they claim the program. If you want to exclude some files of a certain type or a specific creation date, to specify in which an appropriate filter. Beyond Compare ignored then the corresponding data.
