You need to Download and install VobSub from the website. But make sure you have the Divx Codec so you can view the movie. If not, you need to download. Once both have been installed, find the way to the folder. Make sure that the name of the subtitle file contest the name of the movie exactly. This is critical so that VobSub can spot the proper Subtitle file for playback. All the best.

You need to check that the subtitle files should be in SRT format. If not, you would require converting the file to this format. If your subtitle file does not show properly, unlock it up with Notepad, and make sure that it's in the language that you wish. You need to Open up the Movie file in your Divx Player or windows media player. You should now be intelligent to view subtitles with your movies.

Subtitles are always different if they’re not hardcoded into the films from the beginning. You need to first install a media player capable of playing subtitles, not all do (Windows Media Player is one that doesn’t!). In BSPalyer , then put the .sub file in the same directory/folder which your video/movie file is in. Now open BSPlayer and allow subtitles. Also make sure your .sub file has the equal name as your video/movie file. BSPlayer itself cute much has other hints and tips for this. All the best.

In BS palyer, beside the essential function such as font type and size selection, the program supports many others: shadows, outlines, subtitle location on the screen, etc. Bad subtitle timings can be fixed within the program itself with simple keyboard shortcuts. BS.Player can display two outside subtitles (.srt, .sub, .txt...) at the same time. You can select position of both subtitles and enjoy dual subtitles in two different languages with your favourite movie. BS.Player also supports display subtitles in .mkv files for those high resolution movies with subtitles.

If a subtitle-file is located in the same folder as the movie-file and has the similar name as the movie (except for the file-extension of course), you need not do so, as it will then fill automatically (unless you've disabled subtitles under rightclick > Options > Preferences > Subtitles. If subtitles are properly loaded (either automatically or manually) some skins (control panel) will show the name of the subtitle-file. You need to set like that. All the best.

If you find a file name, BSPlayer has known it and able to play. If in spite of that still no subtitles appear please check setting under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering] . Attempt a diverse mode; e.g. no overlay or "Use overlay Mode 1". Other settings to check are those under Options > Preferences > Subtitles. Also it might be of interest to check (with movie loaded) under rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced what codec/filter is actually used to illustrate your movie as there might be a clash as some are also able to display subtitles as mentioned. Best of luck.
