    Camera utility for Windows 7

I am using Windows Vista currently and I want to know that if the Camera utility for Windows 7 is not available, then can I use the same which I am using now after I will upgrade to Windows 7. I have heard that the applications and softwares that work fine in the older versions of Windows have problems while used with Windows 7. So, will there be any kind of incompatibility issue, if I use the same Camera utility. Please provide all your valuable suggestions.

The compatibility of the Camera utility has to be checked

If the Camera utility for Windows 7 is unavailable, then you cannot use it directly with this operating system. The compatibility of the Camera utility has to be checked first. This has to be done after the utility is installed in the Windows 7 operating system. If it is listed among the compatibilities of the system, then it can be used without any issues. If it is listed among the incompatibilities, then there will be issue while using the same.

Camera utility may be available for Windows 7

The Camera utility may be available for Windows 7. I am hoping for the same because it has been quite a long time, since the Windows 7 operating system has been released. Many applications and programs are specially being released for the Windows 7 operating system because the older versions do not support this particular operating system. You will have to give it a check in the market.

    Run as administrator

The Camera utility of Windows Vista can be used for Windows 7 with the help of the Run as administrator option. This will actually force the utility to start. Any sort of incompatibility issue with the applications and programs can be solved with the help of this option. I have used the same and it has proved successful to me inorder to avoid many problems occurring in the system.

Enable a clean install of Windows 7

It is recommended by many experts that one must never do an upgradation of the Windows 7 operating system. But, it is necessary that one must enable a clean install of Windows 7. This is an important point to be noted by the users of Windows 7 because it has been seen that the upgraded versions of the operating systems are having problems with the old applications and programs. But, the ones who have done a clean install, there is no issue faced. So, after that you can use the Windows Vista Camera utility for Windows 7.

You must remember that the Camera utility for Windows 7 cannot be used directly. This is because it is actually supported by Windows Vista only.
