    Microsoft Richcopy

    Hi all,

RichCopy is a Microsoft internal communication of a file copy tool. RichCopy can help you a lot of copying files, especially for slower networks. If you just copy a small number of large files, RichCopy will not be good to improve transmission performance. If that copy large quantities of small files, RichCopy will use multiple threads to shorten transmission time. Please update me more about Microsoft Richcopy . All the best.

Usually we have to use Explorer for file Cut, copy and paste operations. If you installed RichCopy 3.5, will allow the use of RichCopy instead of Explorer, paste operations. When you paste, the right-select the target directory, the menu will appear in the "Paste with RichCopy" operation option, select "Paste with RichCopy" will open RichCopy and using the clipboard as a data source to operate. And RichCopy option settings can also choose menu "Edit default RichCopy Options" to edit. And the modified option only applies to Explorer in the paste operation. All the best.

RichCopy the "Copy condition" parameter default is set to "Copy if source file is updated", this setting is ideal for file backup, that is only updated when the source file will be backed up, plus RichCopy multi-threaded replication, it is a very good file backup tool. First, set up in the main interface to back up the source file and target file, and open the Preferences dialog box, set up under the circumstances the number of threads, return to the main interface, click on the toolbar "Save" button to save it as RichCopy the project file, extension RCX. After the implementation of the project file as long as you can double-click automated backups. check and reply. All the best.

RichCopy can copy the file to reset its properties, such as copying files from the CD to the hard disk, the file will be automatically added on a read-only attribute, then use RichCopy can easily lift. First, open the Preferences dialog box, click the "Advanced" tab, in the "File Attributes to remove" , select "Read Only" option, and then replicate automatically cancel copying After the read-only attribute, of course, you can set the cancellation of other file attributes. In the "File attributes to set" field, select Properties, you can copy the file automatically add this attribute, very convenient. All the best.
