    Motherboard monitor and Windows Vista

I have Windows Vista installed on my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop and I am looking for a site to download a Motherboard Monitor to track my CPU temperature. Does anyone know a website that provides a free download of Motherboard Monitor for Windows Vista? One more thing, is it compatible with Windows Vista? If not then could you tell me some other similar available free online?

Motherboard Monitor (MBM) is a tool that will display information from the sensor chips on your motherboard in your Windows system tray. MBM supports a wide range of Chipsets & Sensor Chip combination. It can sense temps from Cpu, HDD, GFx and Motherboard. It does also sense Fan speeds. This tool was developed by Major Geeks and so you can download it by going to their site.

Even I have Windows Vista on my computer and it runs perfectly well on my computer. But since this tool was designed for Windows XP computer, you need to set it under Compatibility Mode and run it as Admin.

Definitely this not the only software that informs you about the system temperature and other related information. There are many alternatives to Motherboard Monitor. You can go for SpeedFan, Core Temp or CPU-Z and get all the information about your system hardware.
