Problems of VLC 1.0.2, h264 and encoding of webcam

I had upgraded my windows clients to VLC1.0.2 and my real time encoding of the h264 can not be working. The video can be plays better hence after that the video can just become choppy and then catch up later. I can have modified the bellowed settings in VLC 1.0.2 as :
    1. Get into VLC
    2. Select on Tools.
    3. Select on Preferences
    4. Bottom right of the screen click on "All" Under the show Settings Box.
    5. Select on the + next to Input / Codecs
    6. Select on the + next to Video Codecs
    7. Select on x264
    8. Modify setting "B-Frames between I and P" from 3 to 0
    9. Modify setting "Number of reference frames" from 3 to 1
    10. Modify setting "Quality Based VBR" from 23 to 0
    11. Modify setting "Set QP" From -1 to 40
    12. Modify setting "How AQ distributes bits" from 2 to 1.
    13. Modify Setting "Strenght of AQ" from 1.00 to .50
    14. Select Save
Still I am finding problem. So, Can anyone has any solutions?

Re: Problems of VLC 1.0.2, h264 and encoding of webcam

    Hello,
Can you try to encoding with some saner values and notice that if can makes a variance. for an example as follows :
    Code:
    venc=x264{keyint=15,vbv-maxrate=160,vbv-bufsize=160}
Now you can define vbv-maxrate/buffsize something that can be totally different what you told that you want the bit rate to be. Also playing with qcomp can not actually better thing to do. Also why do you set QP if you want bit rate-limited encode?

Re: Problems of VLC 1.0.2, h264 and encoding of webcam

I can configured my web cam drivers today and after that I can stream the video.
1 problem can be raised :
Video streaming can have no issue whenever my laptop can be runs on the battery. If I connect the power plug, I can not receive any video. I can made the comparison the message log and there can be only 2 differences as follows :
    1. main warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
    2. main warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
