Office 2010 document model by using the library to pre-validate a document to avoid unnecessary security problems. The new Office will be able to identify a specific file type, at the beginning of a positive interpretation of the code prior to the implementation of safety measures, such as the discovery of the document to open the library in line with the characteristics of the known macro viruses to disable macros when an early feature. Editor's note: macro virus, CIH virus, worm and Trojan horse viruses had been four major categories of computer users a nightmare, but so far, the other three are still in the computer security threat to Internet users. Check and reply.

Office team used a technique called "fuzzy document (file fuzzing)" technology to find unexpected usage. For example, through the exchange of parameters and changing the field content of the document ambiguous treatment, or the random junk data into files. Ideally, applications should be able to successfully deal with Office documents. However, in the worst case can cause the file to open a vague application crash, then you may detect security vulnerabilities. Microsoft says Office 2010, according to documents dealing with fuzzy ten times more powerful than Office 2007. All the best.

The reality not only in the Office document that contains a simple ASCII data, they may also contains a picture, audio, video, and more embedded data from other applications. After years of testing of Office 2007, Microsoft's engineers come to an unexpected conclusion: They found serious security flaws are mostly not the fault of Office code itself, but those used to render JPEG, GIF and other graphics core third-party code library problem. Therefore, in the Microsoft Office 2010 turned to his own image processing library Windows Imaging Component. For other application developers, this lesson is plain: it must not believe that widespread use of third-party library is perfect. Check and reply.

Very large number of desktop applications prefer to use dialog box, type the security model, users encounter problems, asked: "Your actions may pose a security risk, whether you want to continue (Y / N)?" This approach not only lazy and dangerous , because in the absence of any meaningful guidance, ordinary users would choose "Yes", even if a more detailed warning message would not be much help. Office 2010 has taken a proactive approach. File verification process in the background, rather than continue to use the dialog with the user confrontation before the user interaction and basic background and rational decision-making, enhanced vulnerability management. Best of luck

The former Office of safety risks encountered by the user really only two choices: ignore the threat to open the document as usual; or no longer open the document, these two are not the ideal choice. Office 2010 trying to provide users with a neutral position. For example, if Word 2010 document contains risks encountered macro, it will disable the macros when you open a file. Users will still get a warning message, but in any case the document is opened, when the text is visible, but want to use macros require additional confirmation step. All the best.
