Re: The background is not printed in Word Document

When you print a Microsoft Office Word document that includes a background, the background is not printed. Examples of items that may be on a background include colors, pictures or themes. This problem can also occur when you use Word as your email editor and you print a mail message that includes a background. To decorate your Word document, you have personalized with a color or image background. Now when you print, the background is not present. You can easily configure the word processor to print also the background. You will have to check the box Print color images and background from the Display category.

Since you have mentioned that you work with any version, if you are using the Word 2002, then you will have to use the Print Watermark feature. To avoid this problem in Word 2002, use the feature watermark printed. To do this, follow these steps :
    1. In the Format menu, point to Background, then click Printed Watermark.
    2. In the Watermark dialog box printed, use the following method :
      • To insert a picture watermark, follow these steps: Click Picture watermark.
      • Click Select Picture.
      • Click on the image you want to use as a watermark, and then click Insert.
      • Select the checkbox dimmed if not already selected, then click OK.
