    Re: How to minimize Metadata in Microsoft Excel Workbooks?

    When you create, open or save a workbook in Microsoft Excel, the workbook may contain data that you do not want to share with others when you distribute electronically. This information is called metadata. Metadata is used with various objectives to improve the editing, viewing, filing and retrieval of Office documents. Some metadata is easily accessible through the Excel user interface. Others are only accessible through extraordinary means such as opening a workbook in a binary file editor to low.

    The following are some examples of metadata that can be stored in your workbooks :
    • your name;
    • your initials;
    • the name of your company or organization;
    • the name of your computer;
    • the name of the network server or hard disk where you saved the workbook;
    • Other file properties and summary information;
    • invisible portions of embedded OLE objects;
    • document reviews;
    • text or hidden cells;
    • custom views;
    • comments.
    Blessings to you

    In Microsoft Excel, you can hide rows and columns of cells in a worksheet. To display all the cells of a worksheet, follow these steps :
    1. Click the Select All button in the upper left corner of the worksheet. Or, press CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE.
    2. In the Format menu, point to Row, and then click View.
    3. In the Format menu, point to Column, then click View.

    All cells are now visible.

    Re: How to display hidden worksheets in Microsoft Excel workbooks?

    Microsoft Excel workbooks can contain hidden sheets containing information. To view hidden sheets, point to Sheet on the Format menu, then click View. If a sheet is hidden, you can select the sheet and click OK. You should keep in mind that if the View is not available, this means that no sheet is hidden or that your workbook is protected. In the Tools menu, point to Protection, and then click Unprotect Workbook. If you are prompted for a password, type it to unprotect the workbook.
